When making a book for POD, using Powerpoint, how do I make pages that face each other in the book have inner margins than the outer margins? The margin sizes would have to alternate back and forth. Is there a setting for this in Powerpoint?
Hi Karen
What I do for this is just leave equal size margins all around. But you can set the margins using the Gridlines and then have the inner and outer margins set that way. There is no easy setting for this as there is in Word.
Hope that helps.

So that’s why I couldn’t find the settings to do that. On the project I’m working on, I’m stuck with setting them page by page then. But on future projects, I’ll try to set the margins big enough on each side so that it’s not so much work. Thanks for your quick response.
Also, I understand that Ingram Sparks has some sort of a bookmaking program on their site. I haven’t looked at it. Just wondering if you know anything about it and whether work done in Powerpoint could be transferred over to it.
It looks like the videos have disappeared from the training program. Everything was working fine yesterday, but I have not been able to access any videos today.
Hi Kimberly
Yes we just noticed that too and have our support team looking into why that is happening.
Everything will be restored shortly.
Thanks for your patience.

I haven’t used Ingram Sparks at this point. If they don’t accept PowerPoint files I would assume PDF’s would be.
Let me know.
Thanks

hi just wondering how to set the top and bottom margins
Hi Susanne
You just want to set the guide lines at 0.5 for the top and bottom.

Thank you Sue, everything is working fine now!
Wonderful, don’t you just love those techy issues! Enjoy the course.
